One of the most common decisions companies and schools make is in choosing a projector. We have put together some general information to get you started. There are two common types of projectors most people choose, the DLP (Digital Light Processor) and the LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) projectors.
Once you have found your projector you need to decide where it should be installed or placed. Determining where your projector goes is found by meassuring the "throw" of the projector (i.e. where the light from the projector shows the best quality image for the surface itis projecting on). You will need the height and length of the room. Also most manufacturers provide a "throw chart" for each projector that should be incuded in the contents of the projector box. If you are still in the buying process you can go to a manufacturur's website, look up the projector you want and you should find the throw information there.
